Re: Is it a must to avoid meat w/ UT?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply and book recs. I'm getting the Golden Fountain book. Will get the other one too one of these days.
I've only been on UT for 5 days now. The 1st day I drank a whole pint of 1st urine and it made me ill. 3rd day I drank only 2 TBS but felt feverish, achey, nauseous, etc., and quite sick for 4-5 hours. Yesterday I took 4 TBS and had much less noticeable symptoms. Today I sipped a little over 1/4 cup. It may have been me but I noticed it tasted a lot milder today. It had been more bitter the other days, I thought. I'm wondering if it was because I ate a bunch of fruit yesterday - a whole big papaya, half a cantaloupe, etc., for lunch. I usually eat proteins 3 meals a day, with grain or vegetables. From now on I think I'm going to eat lower carb vegs with my proteins.
I seemed to sleep poorly last night, which kind of surprised me, as my sleep improved with oil pulling, inversion therapy, etc. Is it common to have poor sleep in the early part of UT?
I took 4 or 5 drops of home made homeopathic urine formula I made late yesterday afternoon. Last night I seemed to feel nauseous and my stomach was making a few noises. How does the homeopathic drops differ from drinking urine?
I definitely don't think I should stop eating animal proteins but reducing them is very possibly a good idea for me. Food combining and the Pro-Vita! Plan or the Caveman or SCDiet all make better sense to me now, now that I'm doing more things to get rid of the toxins in my body.
What kind of benefits do you get from UT?
I really believe in the concept of UT. I love bargains, and the price of UT is $00.00
and it makes so much sense on paper. I have had nagging health problems for years that I would LOVE to take control of. I spend a lot on hair mineral analysis tests, and the minerals to take - at least $170 every 2 months, and the test was $150. I've been unable to absorb copper. I believe that UT could do a lot to help balance my mineral levels. I like being independent. I'm far from rich and I hate to spend he money I do have on expensive tests that I may not really need.
I went to a holistic MD last fall, that cost me $300, and I haven't even followed up on that! She prescribed tests for me by Genova [formerly Great Smokies Diagnostic Labs GSDL] that would cost me $629 out of my own pocket, and I have still not had the blood drawn for them yet. It's supposed to test my fatty acid levels, amino acid levels, etc.
I just don't know if I want to spend any more money on my health unless I'm positive I'll get a return on it. Powerful and inexpensive therapies like UT and
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement make me really wonder if I need any more tests. I eat many organic foods, live very clean and take great care of my body.
