Here is a curezone user with stomach and liver cancer who was given six months to live.  She used Essiac first, then added Pau d'arco to her regimen - nothing more.  She said the Essiac slowed it down, but the Pau d'arco knocked it out.

She was diagnosed in early 2001 and her posts are late 2005 and beyond - and she is cancer free.

Rene Caisse, the RN who along with one other brought the Essiac formula to the public eye, treated hundreds of cancer patients - many in the late stages.  She always worked with an MD who concurrently in those days used radiation therapy.  Her success rate was 50% plus cured, and over 80% life extension, and many an improved life because Essiac also deals with the side effects from radiation treatment as well.

I'm a cancer survivor without medical intervention and it wasn't until many years after my being cancer free that I found Essiac.  When I first began to take it I did it last thing at night before bed because it literally knocked me off of my feet.  I would become very weak and I could feel the Essiac go through my entire body which I am convinced was that it was travelling throughout my blood stream.  With each ingestion (2 table spoons), the side effects lessened and after about a week there was no noticeable adverse effect.  I continue to take it because my PSAs a few months ago went from .7 to 2.4, and are back down to about 1.2.  (It was prostate cancer that I had - and I still have my prostate.)

My story is posted on this site somewhere just click on view all yodas (i.e. Canadian Yoda) messages...but a brief recap is that I was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach Cancer that had already spread to my liver in the spring of 2001...I was given 6 months to live ....I was told about Pau d'arco by someone on a forum like this and began taking it along with essiac and juicing twice per day...my last checkup was a few weeks ago and the Oncologist decided he was not even going to schedule another CT scan ( i was down to 1 every 5-6 months)they just cannot find any Cancer and haven't for about 3 years now. So I would definitly urge anyone to try Pau d'arco and Essiac. I still take both at maintenance doses and haven't had as much as a cold for years.
