I don't agree that Molly Bloom "...is pretty militant about men that aren't kind or sweet..." What people might interpret as militant views is actually a non-nonsense, non-high-fructose-coated version of the 'ole Stroking of the Ego. There is a time to soothe and there is also a time to call a Spade a Spade, and Molly has always exercised (IMHO) intuition as to when and where both should be applied. Whether referring to a man, woman, or chimpanzee, Molly has always spoken Truth and never done it for some sort of personal agenda.
For those of us who have suffered, endured, and Survived domestic violence and abuse at the hands of someone that was once trusted and unconditionally loved, we understand the necessity for laying Truth on the line, whether it might seem harsh, or not. Some of the best counseling that I ever received was when my therapist got into my face and asked the "Hard Questions" that I had been avoiding for years: how much is enough? what do you want your children to learn? what are you so afraid of leaving for? do you honestly believe it will really spontaneously "get better?"
Molly Bloom militant? No. Passionate about Truth? Yes.
Best wishes.
