Re: water fasting for 40 days?
Not quite. I am fasting to lose weight. The fact that I am eating raw between shorter fasts and exercising both while fasting and while eating raw when I have the energy to do so is besides the point. I am following fasting principles. Fasting is a holistic measure which nobody here suggests should be done without consideration for the other needs of our bodies. If we just didn't eat for x amount of days and then continued on as if nothing was different it would be no better and just as dangerous as taking medications for individual symptoms is.
The people here are a lot more intelligent than you are giving them credit for. We know what the principles of fasting are and we pass them on as advice to new fasters. It's not fasting plus eating healthy plus a healthy level of exercise, it's all a set! And if you'll read my first reply to this thread you will see that's exactly what I suggested, in support of the person asking the question. You on the other hand are coming to a
Water Fast support forum and telling people it's 'not a good ideal', and that as soon as they finish their fast they will 'gain the weight back'. So your way of supporting their
Water Fast is not to offer more information on how to make it work in their case but to get them to 'reconsider and try a more sensible method for weight loss'. We are here because we know there is nothing better, it is the closest thing to a panacaea we're ever likely to know.
I just don't understand what you're doing in a
Water Fasting support forum at all. You are not being at all supportive I would suggest your role here is as a heckler and nothing more.
Andrew.
