Looking for a Naturopath or Holistic Doctor is a great idea. I've updated the post above to reflect the websites for those organizations so that you can find one in your area. Many are physicians, too. You might want to call first to find out if the ones you are interested in are MD's before making an appointment. That way you will know what he or she can and cannot do for you before you go.

I certainly understand your concern about Difulcan. It's a very strong anti-fungal that presents some real challenges for the liver if used over an extended period of time. That's why doctors monitor liver enzymes of patients who have to use it for a long time to make sure that their patient's livers are tolerating it. Difulcan might be necessary if the candida has become life threatening, but otherwise, Nystatin works just fine, and it's safe.
