24And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
I just had to reprint that one more time. Even though I believe people have a right to their opinion, I do slightly cringe when I hear so many people on these forums putting down church assembly. No church is perfect but it is what you put into it that makes the difference. You must ask God to open doors for you so you can be in a position to make the needed changes in a church if evil tries to enter. I believe in taking back from the devil what is not his, instead of running from the problem. I have faith that if my intentions are right and just (in time) my prayers will be answered.
Of course I realize that some churches have fallen so far that God has given them over to the devil to do what he will. I would not suggest falling with them but keep that church in your prayers as you seek a new assembly.
I like being in a denominational church where the people have say. If God willing, you may be placed in a position to vote on issues concerning the church and it's bible beliefs.
