Re: Trapper

Lol, I'm not surprised. You say fundmedalist background, but would you still call yourself fundamendalist? I don't know, I would say I am a fundamentalist/penecostal mix...I believe very strongly in family values, don't celebrate Halloween ect, and believe in the foundation of Jesus Christ. But I also very strongly believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit working in individuals lives to change the world for Jesus. And that is where I feel that is important to be around like minded believers, to grow, to mature, to support and to reach out and help those around about you--those in the Body of Christ and those without. This can be accomplished much more effectively with a Body of people rather than one sole person, and I believe that is why God set it up that way--for our benefit and for the world so we could reach them more effectively. This can be done with home churches, home groups, large churches, small churches, but it does need people. So that is why I interpret to assemble together, for our own benefit and to benefit others. You mentioned you interpret differently but did not expound on that difference?

2 Peter 1:20
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Prophecy is of no private interpretation, I wonder why we as Christians have all different kinds of interpretation on the same verses?? Just pondering on that...
