Well..I think what I am trying to get at is; certain parasitic infections may require a multi-faceted approach. Certain zoonotic parasites, and protozoa can exist forever in the mammialian system without causing serious pathology in the host. Therein lies the problem. It seems they may have adapted antigens to be excepted by the host, much the same way an organ transplant works.
It is the by-products and accompanying symbiots which can be causing the symptoms!
So, I feel it is important to first know what your dealing with. This can be difficult obviously, but if one knows, one might be able to target the "motherload" with a traditional drug.
