Find your self a GOOD pain management dr. Ive had it since 93. Tried parriffn bath, soaking in hot tub some many meds Ive forgotten some. Heres a list of meds to ask about, Neurontin, elavil, soma,reflen,ultram, cymbalta,hydrocodone,durgesic patch, also ask for a stellate block or beir block these gave my instant relief stopped the burning for 3days up to 4 weeks.
I have a dorsal cord stimulator that stops the pain on meds of neurontin,soms,reflan,elavil,oxycontin.SOme of these meds Im on 3 x's a day 4 x's a day twice a day
But to be pain free for one day is worth it.
Ask your dr about these meds and others to help with the pain. You must be very honest with your dr so he /she can help. DO NOT BE AFRAID to ask for pain relief.
