great warning!
... about the rejuvelac! i was happy to read, "It can remove so much matter so fast", because i'd like stored toxins to move. i'm making a miniscule first batch, using a third a cup of red wheat. the 'sproutpeople' site highly recommends rye as producing the most tolerable tasting rejuvelac.
read some good information from john claydon on what to expect during a course of 'rejuvenation'. made me more aware that little 'symptoms' that come up during the process are probably from stored toxins getting 'evicted' from cells and into the blood. he also stressed that too many new herbs/superfoods can cause more harm than good.
"A common mistake people who have a great desire to get well make, is to take several potent remedies at the same time, e.g. superfoods and herb's with the mistaken notion that they must get nutrition 'in'. Herb's and superfoods combine to produce a greater stimulation than either items on their own. This potentially curative stimulation is the enemy of getting well, for many. You need to observe how you are responding with one remedy at a time. Once the nutritional/mineral trace element reservoir has been built up you may be able to tolerate a cocktail of herb's and superfoods, but even then there is an optimum number and combination. It takes time, patience, and when in doubt, advice from the few people who understand these matters."
