For me the chlorox is shut off....
that sounds like 'the right stuff'!
as feared, my (inactive?) lewis labs brewer's yeast and the pastuerized whole-apple juice didn't interact and their combination tastes just like juice with a little, grainy brewer's yeast.
might be fun to get a triplet of red star dry yeast and try it again. there's a recipe for making hard cider (for some strange use) online that says to use pastuerized cider so i guess, as long as the yeast is active, an interaction should take place. (btw, it was on amazon i saw the 2 lb. bag of red star.)
i read a couple paragraphs on some site saying you shouldn't eat active yeast because it will continue to grow inside you and compete for your nutrients! fun idea.
i found online, "Some researches have suggested that food contains ‘bio-photons’ i.e., locked in sun energy, and that essential fatty acids that line every cell (a component of the cell membrane) are the receptors of this type of chi (life-force)."
do you agree?
is barefoot's "growing like a weed b" a mix of plant fats/oils — if so, which plants do you use?
