Edit-I also wanted to say I am glad your mother was able to maintain a fairly good quality of life after all her treatments. Not everyone is that fortunate. I am glad that she is able to continue to be a positive force in family dynamics and remain as your mother and not a patient with you the caregiver. You are truly blessed. I hope you can be together in good spirits for a long time. Sorry I did not write this earlier, I was getting a little too emotional from reading your post. Tweet
