Re: Iodine and constipation edit

That's just the thing, Trap. I took a Bowel Cleanse called Aloe Ease, and was on maintenance for several years, and I had the most beautiful BMs, three a day, you could ever imagine. Before that I had always had loose bowels. So the last thing I expected with Iodine was to lose that. I stayed on Aloe Ease until just the last month or two until it ran out.

Intuitively I feel that my body will adjust if I just keep going. The lead is a possibility, but only if it constipates when loosened and coming out. I have been coloring my hair all my life, and that is supposed to be a source of lead, at least it used to be. I can deal with this by increasing magnesium and acidophilus. It is no big deal for me to do that.

Regarding hydration, I review it each time my bowel movements slow down, and mostly I have slowed down on water when that happens. So I push water. But just hydration and the salt protocol is not enough; I have to increase the magnesium and acidophilus to increase the elimination. I have not had just one bowel movement for years, and with the iodine, I know I need more than that.

What I am doing works for me. I am improving. My vision is improving and that's a biggie for me. I want to increase my Iodine again, but I can't do it without good elimination - I really don't like detox symptoms and so far it is quite manageable, and I want to keep it that way.
