The easiest way to explain bowel tolarence is to keep taking Vitamin C until you start pooping (and pooping and pooping). Basically the body will absorb what Vitamin it can and then send the rest to the colon where it will stimulate (or irritate it-depending on your point of view) to create a rapid exit of the excess vitamin. Magnesium acts in a similar way.

My mantra is start low and go slow after having some bad experiences with some other protocols. Begin with perhaps a gram of good quality vitamin C twice a day. If this does not give you diarrhea, then slowly increase the dosage until you do get the runs. For some people bowel tolerance may be as little as two or three grams. Others can easily go ten grams or more. My friend Owen (have you read his Website here on Curezone?) says that when a person is ill that they can usually increase their dose without problems. My dose is about 6 grams or 6000 mg taken two grams at a time several times a day. If I take it all together or take more I get the trots. Your bowel tolerance level will help you know your best amount to take. Just keep it slightly below what gives you the (a) green apple two-step, (b) the backdoor trots or (c) butt pee. How many words do we have for diarrhea? Now, that's a good off topic topic :)
