Re: 2nd evening of salt loading
Jus a couple of thoughts - salt loading is important, even on the days you don't take iodine. You may not need as much, but it helps the bromide excretion, which occurs whether you are taking the
Iodine that day or not.
High Vitamin C will help your son's bleeding gums (orally, not topically) and will also help with detox. Have him take to bowel tolerance. It is the one most effective supplement for bleeding gums, and is a recommended companion nutrient for iodine. Just do not take with the iodine, as it changes the composition of iodine. Topical aloe vera rubbed on gums helps too, especially if you have the fresh or a concentrated gel.
Since you have been on
Iodine for awhile, it might be good to reread the FAQ on companion supplements. It is so hard to remember everything, and very important when trying to maximize detox and minimize suffering. For example, I had to triple my magnesium dose because
Iodine constipates me. Selenium is important, and now the iodine docs are recommending riboflavin and niacin to be added to the protocol (I take a multi B with may magnesium, and it relaxes the transient back pain (kidney area) that was such a problem for a few days. It is good to review the FAQ section every few months, since our bodies are so different and always changing.
