Wow, That's very interesting, I've never heard of that but I would love to see a video of it.  I do know there have been services in which the Glory of God is so strong that you can see lights and many people report seeing angels in the room.  I have certainly  "felt" angels around me, but never seen them.   My child saw one once when very little.

As far as candles, I know Roman Catholics, Orthodox Russians and Greek Orthodox (which I assume you are...) use candles in their churches.  However here in the United States there is a very large number of "protestant" churches and most of these use no candles at all.

One thing is for sure, all these manifestations are unimportant in and of themselves  unless God and God alone is glorified, and unless it is truly the Holy Spirit and not some other fake spiritual entity.
