Wow!

This stuff you talk about sounds pretty heavy duty, concrete, cannonballs business, LOL.  I am very aware that there is an "institutional" church, and I know that a great deal of it has been hijacked by sinister politicians looking to fulfilllment of their own agendas, as well as by arrogant pastors that have lost their way.  Other than that, I have no personal experience with these so called "institutional  churches".  I have always congregated amongst believers whose main goal is to serve God and one another.  So although I do know what you're talking about, I feel that people who are so hung up on all these heavy things are truly far from the Spirit and are just going on a very dry run with legality.  The Word without the Spirit is dead, and corpses stink.  I guess that's just white sepulchre christianity.

As far as judging, I see all the time people waving these little "thou shall not judge" flags, as if that was immunity from having a conscience and anything goes.  We are first of all told in Scripture to judge all prophecy whether it be from God.  Prophecy isn't restricted to prognosticating the future, it is also used in describing teaching of the word as to whether it applies to scripture and how.  This then is plain discernment.  We SHOULD be discerning and should put all things to the test of whether it orignates from the throne of God or not.  Period.  However many people nowdays point a finger at anyone who calls something as 'not of God'  and say it is "judging".   My skin crawls because it's just such a cop out, not because I have my face saturated in pickle juice and have this tremendous desire to turn into a cranky old hag.   Do you not know that we will judge angels? Then why not everyday matters? [1 Cor. 6:2-3]

It's very simple; something either lines up with the Word or not, it's either Godly or not.  You can't force people to follow anything, including God, if they have no conviction.  It wouldn't work anyway because our accountability to God is a one on one, face to face deal.  Therefore, what we all CAN do, is settle in our own minds if the fruits we are seeing in front of us are of God, or something else.   That's what true judgement is, and the rest is just the superfluous end result of being imperfect humans.
