Re: birthright

In Luke 23:43, where did Jesus go on that "day"?

It is commonly ASSUMED that the paradise being spoken of was heaven, but The Lord has used the term "heaven" very freely all throughout scripture (how strange that He would not use it here).

I don't agree with this church's core beliefs (I have JUDGED that they are legalistic), but their criticism that even translation from Greek is faulty is interesting. They are not explicit about their criticism of Luke 23:43 (not that it would matter, I lean towards common sense). I have always found each word that was spoken by The Lord to be "specific".

When you get to the site, press CTRL F, enter PARADISE and press enter. The word will be highlighted (on the START menu, click RUN, enter OSK, you'll see the CTRL key far left and right).

In heaven (the paradise of God), there will be no murderers.

Can you change the stripes on a tiger?

Can you change the past? If not, then why would you excuse it? Forgiveness cannot change the past, the man was what he was (the man went to his CHOSEN paradise).

Many people may choose to INTERPRET and believe this event to mean whatever they wish it to mean, and it will effect their devotion, but it will not have any effect on those whose devotion is based solely on LOVE.
