Many years ago Christians were terrified that the social security numbers were the "mark of the beast", then it was the scanners in the stores, now it's the chip. Isn't it amazing that all those who thought it was the SS#, have one? Did you know that in the dark ages the Catholic Church instructed their followers not to sell or provide shelter, or anything else, to anyone that refused to knuckle under to the pope? They were finally killed. No one at that time had a "mark" on their hand or head. They either had the "mind of Christ", or the "mind of antichrist".
Mainstream religion didn't understand the prophecies about Jesus, and didn't recognize Him when he walked among them. Why should we think mainstream religion is any different today? Revelation starts out by saying that it is "to His servants", yet you can hear the same thing on the discovery channel about the "end times" as you hear from some pulpits. God's truths are hid to them that are lost, the scripture says. Through the years I've heard some "prophet" set a date for the "end of the world", and when it didn't happen they change the date, over and over again. "No man knows" the Bible says. I'm not a teacher, or anything, for that matter, but I do know that we need to put our trust in Him, and not fear what men say or do.  Tweet
