Re: Doctors Fail to Recognize Anti-Depressants Dangers

We seem to have similar experiences. It is true that genetics plays an important role. I have mental illness running in my family.
But when we know there is a genetic disposition we can beat the influence of genetics by nutritional means in most cases from very early age (first ten years of life). When we know there is a genetic faulty gene, it is important to get the child on a high protein/sugarless diet as much as we can.

Also when we are under stress this interferes with serotonin production. We seem to differ in the way we react to stress, for in some people it cascades in full blow Depression or mood disorders. We then tend to mistake the stress (trauma) as the cause of ongoing symptomatology as in PTSD. And here again PTSD is so often considered to be untreatable by the conservative mental health professionals. Most clients with PTSD have hypoglycemia or some other diagnosable metabolic disorder.

I am so glad I find somebody who shares similar experiences as I have.

It is so sad to see so many people suffering unnecessarily, because of some doctors' ignorance and incompetence.
