Re: Doctors Fail to Recognize Anti-Depressants Dangers...heart

Doctors fail to understand the dangers of antidepressants because the drug companies lie about the dangers of all the drugs they peddle and exagerate or outright lie about their benefits. The FDA does not test drugs. It simply relies on the tests conducted by the drug companies who pay scientists alot of money and expect favorable results. Many MDs receive huge fees for signing their names to research they were'nt involved in . Drugs are often approved after being tested for a few weeks , even though adverse effects may take months or decades to appear . Once a drug is approved ,there is essentially no long term follow up to monitor its' side effects. Usually when a person has a health problem , they don't connect it to a drug they took months or years ago.The head of the FDA admitted that less than one percent of a drugs side effects are known. Many if not most of our illnesses are caused by prescription drugs.
