Re: Feeling of Sadness
jurplesman,
Whatever your qualifications with a "Scientific Method" and psychonutrition, you forgot one thing,...people are living things, not objects to be scientifically analyzed and empirically categorized, archived and defined. Try actually LISTENING to what a person says (even though it doesn't fit into a "Scientific Method").
The original poster wrote...
"I feel so sad and all alone, BECAUSE (HINT/reason) some people's hearts are made of stone."
If you can forget for a moment about your "Scientific Method", you might be able to understand what THE REASON for most
Depression is. It is that so many people in the world insist on "intellectualism" and a "Scientific Method" and "their hearts are made of stone" that they don't even LISTEN (or read) what the person is saying. When you perform this little bit of detective work (listening because you ADDRESS THE PERSON AS A HUMAN BEING), you not only show respect to all of humanity (and the people that you condescendingly feel have a "disease"), but you also gain wisdom instead of saying that a person will feel sad..."for NO APPARENT REASON".
It is this "Scientific Method" of not treating people like human beings that is THE CAUSE of most depression. It happens not just in the offices of professionals, but all throughout society and daily life because many people want to have the "status" of being an intellectual. When you DISREGARD what a person is actually saying, you DEMEAN THEM (this is a "no no") and perpetuate a low self-esteem in them thereby CONDITIONING them to accept further abuse from society (aquaintances and "FRIENDS").
The world has taught you to regard human beings as "scientific" OBJECTS that can be indoctrinated and molded. Learn to shed a tear for us human beings, maybe that will improve your understanding of us.
