Advertising has changed the human race. It all started early on in the 20th C. with Pharmacueticals and Coca-Cola ads, and then later on junk food and fast food ads.

Advertising has changed the human race. It all started early on in the 20th C. with Pharmacueticals and Coca-Cola ads, and then later on junk food and fast food ads.
There is no doubt we have been brainwashed by very clever people who know what they are doing. Some of the brightest minds on the planet work at ad agencies.
Have they fooled themselves? Probably.
But then it got into POLITICS and corporatism, and the workplace. We are told/trained/brainwashed into believing that we simply have to get a job because there is no other possibility for survival. We all moved into the cities to get jobs. This move to the cities is still be perpetrated on people in developing nations.
The corporate farms took over the family farms. Nobody is allowed to make a go of it living off the land.
Nobody is allowed to make a go of it living off the land?? Gee, isn't that how humans got to the 20th Century? For 100,000 years we lived off the land, just as people still do in some undeveloped nations.
I say it should be an option for those of us who do not fit into the modern lifestyle. I am sure I would have had a hard life in the bush, but I would have been happier living off the land.
There is no such option. I ask you why not?
