Dear Roselinville,
Boy, have I been there with the bloating. A year ago I had people who had not seen me for a few months ask me if I was pregnant (Needless to say, I was not). As for jeans, forget it...skirts with elastic waistbands and gracious tops are all I wear. I find that it looks much more elegant.
I wish I could tell you that the bloating is gone since I have stared the cleansing, but I have only been cleansing for 3 weeks, and I know that I still have many
parasites to eliminate. I can understand you might be skeptical that
parasites are the true cause of the bloating, and it is wise to research different possibilities. At this point for me, I feel that
parasites have been the primary cause of all of my symptoms (especially after starting to see them in my stool).
I do not know if it is better to cleanse continuously or with breaks, but I would imagine that it is kinder to the body to take breaks. After all, it is our bodies which ultimately eliminate the parasites. My plan, for example, having finished the initial cleanse, is to pursue the maintenance cleanse (which is just one dose of the herbs per week), but to do maybe 6-8 days straight of the herbs around the full moon every month (the time when parasites apparently detach themselves from the intestinal walls in order to reproduce - hehe).
However, as I mentioned, I am finally hooking up with a practitioner for a more systematic approach. I spent over a year and exorbitant amounts of money trying to address this entirely on my own with many well-intended and creative methods of cleansing and supplementation, only to find myself more informed but with the same symptoms I began with.
As for the sweets and grain cravings, they have improved since I started eating raw garlic. I had them so bad that they would keep me up all night until I gave into them, and then they would not subside no matter how much I fed them and how full my stomach became. Eating raw garlic has helped me very much to eliminate the sweet cravings when they arise.
Best wishes,
Healthie
