Thanks so much for posting this! I'll be checking into it. One of the
sources you listed for the glass jars for fermenting veggies is out of stock
of the glass jars, looking for a new (cheaper) source for them. The LB17
is not cheap (though granted it's cheaper than the $2633 I would be
shelling out to the doctor) but if it's effective then I would say it's
worth it. It must cost you a mint to use that many of the capsules in the
veggie mix and then consume 2 more, every few days. How often do you mix
up a batch? Interestingly, fermented veggies are one of the very few things
I do not enjoy eating--I like most everything. Stopped eating wheat and
dairy due to health reasons, but not because I didn't like it. Won't eat
pork due to cultural (raised Jewish) and health reasons. Otherwise, I eat
practically anything if it's good, health-promoting and nourishing food.
So it will definitely be an adjustment. I'll keep on checking the Green Living
Oasis site, and maybe I'll get one from the other site, Wisementrading. I'll
have to get the cookbook too. Incidentally, the first source for the LB17
you list is Canadian; they may not be able to sell supplements soon on account
of the very restrictive legislation which is coming down the pike there
regarding natural supplementation of any sort, including herbs. It's been in
the news lately. I sure hope that gets shot down. Thanks again for your post.
