Dream about DD
Date: 9/1/2006 7:45:27 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2412 times My DD10 has developed two freckles or moles on the white of her eye. We are in the middle of seeing some Dr about this to determine how serious it is. I asked for a dream about the situation.
Here's the dream.
The family was shopping at a big grocery store. We were filling up lots of carts. The store was in England and I love all the foreign accents. When we were ready to leave it was raining and grey outside. We had a cart loaded with groceries and my DH was going to load them in the car in the rain. I remember it being gray and just a gentle rain. The car was down a flight of stairs so it was a long walk/run to get to the car.
Shift to inside the car and we were driving to the airport. I was back with the groceries looking in the bags for a note pade that we had purchased. I looked up to the front seat and there was no driver. But we were going a reasonable speed and the car seemed to be manuervering correctly. I was confused.
I looked in front of us and there was the flashing red/blue light of a police car. And behind us was the car with some friends. I did some sign language and motioned to my friends and asked what was going on with the car. They told me that the police car was leading us and it was going by remote control. It worked fine.
I am going to post up the interpretations from a dream site about some of these symbols. To dream that you are in a market, represents some emotional of physical need that you are currently lacking in your life. To see fresh groceries in your dream, symbolizes abundance, ease and comfort. To see or use a shopping cart in your dream, indicates that you are reaping the rewards and benefits of your hard work.
So are these symbols describing DD? Does she have some emotional need that she is lacking? Or is that me?
Rain also symbolizes fertility and renewal.To dream that you are watching the rain from a window, indicates that spiritual ideas and insights are being brought to you awareness. It may also symbolize fortune and love.
I didn't go out in the rain - I was just watching it from the grocery store door.
To dream that you are riding in an automobile, signifies that even in pleasant situations, you will still be restless and uneasy. If you are in the backseat of the car, you are allowing others to take over. Overall, this dream symbol is an indication of your dependence and degree of control you have on your life.
So does this indicate that DD does not have control of her life? That something else is in control or is this me?
The police also symbolize structure, rules, and control. And I think in this case it means higher authority, maybe God or Doctors.
To see a busy airport in your dream, signifies the desire for freedom, high ideals, ambition, and hopes. It is an indication that you are approaching a new departure in your life. Some new idea is taking off or is ready to take off. You may be experiencing a new relationship, new career path or new adventure.
So the overall message I get from this dream is that a higher authority - one that I respect is in control and the experience is going just as it should. I don't have to drive in order for us to get to the airport - new adventures!
