EFT - anxiety
Date: 5/8/2006 11:13:19 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2145 times First a dream from DS18. He was at school and getting ready to leave and there was a buffet of food and things. He began picking up arm fulls of sandwiches. They smelled really wonderful and he was really hungry and he wanted to take home as many as he could. He saw some teachers and then left with his armfulls of sandwiches. He remembers being barefoot.
DS has been so sick that he has left school and has not been able to accomplish any homework either. Just last week we learned that all the teachers will just give him the grade he had when he left or give him a Pass and he has all the credits he needs to graduate. So he is finished with school and will graduate. To me the dream is so obvious. He was so busy and involved with school and the students and the activities and the arts just like his arms are full of sandwiches.
During these months of doctor visits and decisions I have used the collarbone point particularly on myself. Its the point that helps me not to cry. Sometimes the emotion is too strong - but much of the time when I need to be objective and centered in order to drive and phone and talk to medical people I use the collarbone point and just holding my fingers there and it really helps.
Last night I went to bed and felt a backache and it took me awhile to realize I should just tap - duh. It took one round and the backache was then reduced to an awareness. Then eventually forgotten altogether.
I have used the tapping to keep any anxiety from building up over the day. Its very helpful. Its a bit like tapping in faith and belief and trust and what I know in my head about this experience.
