Changing Frequencies - Zapper updates #11025
Changing the capasitor in the ZP Zapper (for experimenting with different frequencies)

Welcome to Windows of Healing - I've got a little something techy to share with you today, so don't let it boggle you!
My brother recently helped me change the frequency in my Zapper from 23 kHz to 2.5 kHz. While I'm not quite convinced that frequency makes all the difference in Zapping, some say certain frequencies such as this, penetrate better, so I thought I would try it. - I can't tell the difference, but I'm not sick any more from using the original version any way!
OK, but it case some of you have the equipment and the skill, I thought I'd share with you how easy this is. I use the ZP Zapper from http://www.zapperplans.com, - You can build one yourself using their schematic or buy one for $10.
My brother cut the black heat shrink casing off and just swapped the 100 PF capacitor for me, for a 1,000 PF capacitor. This changed the frequency (in my extra Zapper) to 2,500 Hz - 2.5 kHz (I have two of the $10 Zappers because I found one that I had lost a while back.) Then, to keep it from falling apart without the casing, you can put some rubber-bands to protect it or new heat shrink if you have some.
I would like to encourage you to try it, have your dad or brother do it or someone techy you know if you don't have a soldering iron.
If you are just interested in trying a regular Zapper (I really don't know if the 2.5 is any better) you can get one at that link, as I said before, for $10. It's done wonders for me, and I am really blessed to be able to say so!
Hebrews 10:16 & 17 - "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more."
Titus 2:11-15 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee."
