Daily Word - Lamentations 3:19-25
19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. 20 My
soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. 21 This I recall
to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are
not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every
morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for
him, to the soul that seeketh him.
Daily Recipe -
~Sourdough Sponge~
8 cups Flour
8 cups Water
1 batch of sourdough starter
Stir into a larger glass bowl and cover with a thin cloth or paper towel, use a rubber band to keep it in place if you like. Place in an out of the way warm place for 24 hours, to sour. (it should smell like your starter)
Object Lesson -
So, you've added some more fresh things to your life, now it's time to relax and let things set for a while. It's kind of nice, but the fermented starter is using it up and it's all going sour! Shall we give up and throw it away? No! When we add the salt and more flour, you'll start to see the change!!
In future issues we will be addressing Emotional Healing, Depression,
Stress, House Keeping, Child Care, Home Disasters, Listening, Trust and many
more topics that we all struggle with, so please feel free to ask for support
and prayer, and share your questions and concerns about life and your
family.
