For instance, if I pet Mr. Nelson, my Cat, he snuggles up and ”pets” me back. Take five from your cares and get a little freshness in your perspective...
I have been doing what I call ”splashing” to refresh myself during the day or in the morning or at night. At a moment of negetive stress, I might go to the cupboard and get a jar, fill it with luke-warm water and add a drop of my favorite essential oil, Lavander. Over the bathroom sink I will smile in the mirror and splash this scented water on my face. I’ll turn the focet on to hear the rushing water. Pouring it slowly on my face it will feel cool and refreshing, the aroma is sweet and breathing in the freshness reminds me to think on good things.
