Splashing - #2 Since Scents make Sense!
Take five from your cares and get a little freshness in your perspective...
Date: 2/1/2006 1:56:35 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2926 times I have been doing what I call "splashing" to refresh myself during the day or in the morning or at night. At a moment of negetive stress, I might go to the cupboard and get a jar, fill it with luke-warm water and add a drop of my favorite essential oil, Lavander. Over the bathroom sink I will smile in the mirror and splash this scented water on my face. I'll turn the focet on to hear the rushing water. Pouring it slowly on my face it will feel cool and refreshing, the aroma is sweet and breathing in the freshness reminds me to think on good things. A waterfall where flowers grow above the stream is delightful!
Taking this refreshing moment has given me a new spunk to spring back out there and do what's got to be done. Remember to smile and take things with a splash. You'll enjoy life better if you can just appriciate the little joys, like water and Lavander.
Some other scents that are lovely include Jasmine Essential Oil, Tangerine Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil. (I use NOW Essential Oils, from Vitaglo.)
