if it were all just this easy!!!
HOW FAR AWAY WE HAVE MOVED FROM OUR TRUE HEALTH CENTER
MAYBE WE NEED SOME ABC's

THE ABC’S OF A RAW FOOD LIFESTYLE
Attitude
Beliefs
Connect
Looks like an odd combination or words to include in an article about the raw food lifestyle, but I will connect the dots.
Everyday, we make choices concerning the food we eat, and the food we eat is either going to keep us well or make us sick.
So that brings me to my first word A= ATTITUDE.
The first question that would be important to ask.. What is my attitude concerning my health? Even without any apparent health problems and if your daily fare is the Standard American Diet (SAD) and the largest percentage of that diet is cooked food you are on a slide. Given enough length, time and slope you will develop disease—life- threatening disease.
Your attitude filters down to how you view your responsibility for your health, and those attitudes, will for the most part decide your longevity. A long life that is health filled: or one that is dis eas ridden because of bad food choices.
If you are eating in fast food restaurants, drinking colas, especially dark colas( you are drinking acid when you drink dark colas.) For more information go to: www.dorway.com
Using white sugar? A craving for sugar indicates you are deficient in minerals . Try replacing white sugar with Agave ( made from a Mexican cactus grown in the desert.) Agave is a low-glycemic sweetener and burns cleaner and longer.----and you use 25% less than you do sugar. Please don’t use sugar substitutes(another article.)
Examine your white flour intake: Pastas, bread white rice even most whole wheat bread is not really made from whole grains. These foods are processed and the valuable wheat germ has been thrown out. Then they add in some caramel coloring to make you think you are getting a whole grain food. Some 95% of Americans are allergic to gluten. Bread is made with gluten.
Most all candida is due to sugars and bread.
So, examine your attitudes about what you eat and why you eat please.!!
B if for our: BELIEFS.
. Usually they stem from our childhoods. My mother said if I ate raw carrots I would have perfect eye sight . So of course I believed her: my mom must be right. Well she was right about most things, but hey even my mom made some mistakes. I don’t have perfect eye sight. How many raw carrots can a person eat? She was on the right tract, we just didn’t know about carrot juice when I was young.
My point is that our beliefs stem form somewhere or somebody, and often time we don’t stop to explore why we continue on year after year with the same belief system
I think beliefs should be looked at and be ever changing, just like out lives. Once again we need to take the responsibility for our beliefs and see what is working and what isn’t.
If you have high blood pressure and the doctor says the only way for you to get your blood pressure down is by taking this new miracle drug “Make Me Well.” Are you going to run down to the pharmacy and buy enough pills to take you into the next century. Do you just believe him? Oh, and a little side bar: among the side effects of this new miracle
Drug---- are just a few little problems like: kidney disease, loss or increase of appetite, dizziness and a list of other very serious maladies.
It doesn’t matter what the situation, do you really believe what you are being told about your health with out examining the protocol to see if it’s right for you and for your body?
Do you believe you will be healthier? Do you think about the true meaning of health and why your blood pressure is high? Is it your belief, or the medical establishment’s belief when you take that medication?
When I recommend a certain drink or food plan to a client, it is being recommended because I truly believe at that time it is the very best for their health.
Second, they have to believe that it will truly help them and then take a leap of faith their health is going to be greatly improved due to the changes they are making. If it is wrong for their belief system, we have to try another approach.
Third, they need to see if the end result we are working toward is believable to them.
In other wards, at this time in their life does it fit into their belief system of achieving perfect health.
C if for: CONNECT with each other and with the food we eat.
I believe we can develop a relationship with our food. Being consciously present when making out daily food choices would in all probability make us immediately 25% healthier. How can you connect to food that is ordered from a sign standing in the road, never mind you have to shout out the order at least three times, if you are lucky its only three times. . Then that food is pushed at you through a small opening in half a window, and off you go driving down the highway of life to eating your way to disease.
Where are we all going with these busy lives? Who do we connect with over these meals? Are we even consciously present?
It seems we connect to gluttony and another trip to the doctor for the latest antacid.
How far removed all this is from the organic farmer, working in his fields, tilling his beautiful rich soil, sowing seeds that will sprout and grow to become plants rich with nutrition with which to feed his family and others in the world around him. His food is art and vibrating health. He has connected, not only himself, and his family, but to all those fortunate enough to enjoy his bounty—connected to the greater good of feeding the planet.
Is it the food we eat? Wouldn’t a simpler diet of fruits and vegetables clear away toxic systems and leave us in tune with our inner world. Maybe then we would be able to respond to our ABC’s and decide what is really true for our self.
Finally, maybe its time we all just take a look at how simple our health could be. Imagine if we decided to take control and check out our attitudes, beliefs and connect with the universe to take back our power of choices and with some divine guidance and a little help from our fellow humans we could all live together, healthier, longer and disease free.
