37 days - nearly 6PM Sunday and its Starting to
37 day fasting journal - going great, inward day

Had a quiet inward day today, no busy work for once, not many of these days in my life anymore, today I slept in too long... woke bright at 7am but it was chilly and so quiet in the house I decided to stay in bed, should have got up the 1st time, more sleep made me feel worse - but when I woke the 2nd time I woke to my friend Jan live streaming his Chi Gong class so that cheered me up and I did a class and decided to start doing a bit of a harder fast, not consuming any calories for an intermittent window each day from 10:30 PM to 11am - maybe a bit longer also - so I started my day with a black coffee in that spirit and waited till after 11 to have my first coffee with cream, I skipped sugar and substituted that for B Vitamin laden Malt syrup instead with some Shen powder - its the season for Shen and I have been feeling drawn to it instinctively and to the calm that medicine brings.
I played my nylon string guitar for awhile and was the first time I could really play more than a song or two so my tennis elbow has healed a lot - I still have to keep off it and not do lifting but it's really coming good now - I rested for little moments, made melon juice with cold pressed pine needle and a bit of lemon, I drank some and bottled some and made kefir in the blender with 4 blackberries and 2 medjool dates soaked in boiling water till they were soft - really nice, drank some and a small 2/3rds of a cup of tomato soup with some nutritional yeast added and had a long pine bath - cleaned the house - listened to music, now it's already 6 days disappear fast and I'm going to go for a long walk for an hour collect some more pine and then come home and do a zoom teaching with one of my Buddhist Guru's.
I feel great, the warmer weather, more time off, the house really getting done now and things fixed, its looking and feeling so good here now and the people here now we are all close and real and clean and respectful and its just so good to have that level of living for a change - wow. We need one other person so will need to get someone on the same page.
I can start doing more exercise now and push the fast harder - do this window every day of at least 12 or 13 hours and get used to the habit of that, and also decrease sugar - I have been having quite a bit in my drinks throughout the day and I want to cut that down a lot now - maybe look for substitutes like ethirytol and maybe agave or something malt syrup more low gi and healthier - jaggery etc - but less as well and better quality choices when I do have it - might make some dark raw chocolate bark with that kind of sweetner so at night when I do want a couple pieces of that to dissolve in my mouth its also a superfood and better and low sugar.
That might take me afew days - the small cup of soup every day is nice atm - it's nearly 40 days - I'll probably keep going to 60 or beyond for sure, might do some other kinds of things at some points like go on a protein shake diet for a couple weeks or a month with a soup meal each PM but anyway for now this is how I'm travelling - getting heaps better still a ways to go it's all working always does.
Well, off for a walk with some music a bag for the pine :)
