Intermittent Fasting Diet
Today is my 14th ”fast day” since this all began. I’ve been continuing on since the last entry with the schedule of doing a 500 calorie day Mon, Weds & Fri - with the rest of the days of the week as normal days. Things are slowly transforming!
I spent a couple of hours on the Fast Diet website a couple weeks ago & realized they were advocating sticking to a 2000 or so calorie diet on the non fast days which seems quite at odds with the BBC Program which more or less points to the benefits of ADF being that on the non fast days you can pretty much eat anything. Intermittent Fast Diet
I Love this DIET! Hesitate to call it that, lifestyle is a better way of putting it - Ah, I love this Lifestyle! It is going really well & I’ve never felt such a sense of permenance with any healthy way of eating before - probably the closest I’ve come to that is trying to adopt a wholefoods diet, but in reality - that was too difficult to adhere to - it’s good however, to take on eating more wholefoods etc, trying to be a purist with my diet always failed in that sense because I’d be out in social settings or on the road & on the go so often, also I like to cook a range of beautiful thi ... read more

Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle
I’ve come off a 30-40 day fast where I did a big detox & kick started my lifestyle change with some serious shedding of excess pounds - during that time I subsisted only on liquids - mainly water based drinks with some honey, sugar & dairy - kefir, juice, no smoothies or powders or broths etc - and started taking some small amounts of food around day 30 - slowly weaning back onto food and off the fast which I ended officially at 40 days going on to the Intermittent Diet - a lifestyle in which you eat without restrictions some days of the week and on other days of the week eat only 4-500 ca ... read more
