Day 10 - Water only fast - End of Fast
Water only fast day 10
Date: 5/9/2013 8:39:54 PM ( 11 y ) ... viewed 8552 times 6:45 am - Woken up due to an emergency at work. Got informed that there will be weekend work too. This is bad. Cant wait for Sunday.
1:00 pm - Woken up again at 9 am and then slept until 12:30 pm. So I will be late to work. Lots of pressure at work and will be working this weekend. There is a chemist strike here which means I can not do an enema which I wish to do.
In the shower I was looking for signs to continue the fast. I will look out for some signs throughout the day. But if its too difficult to manage work along with the fast then I may end it by juicing for a few days.
3:00 am - Got back from work extremely late. I was informed today that we had a client visit and I would have to entertain them tomorrow and through the week. So I am going to break my fast in a few minutes with some watermelon. I planed to do a few days on juice but that will not happen with this. I kind of have mixed feelings about ending abruptly. I am thinking I will do one more cleanse - a big one in June or maybe that will be too soon.
The pros of the fast was that
- clearing of sinus (80% clear)
- better skin
- weight loss of around 7 Kgs in 10 days.
- No will to smoke
The cons are
- Did not feel spiritual like I wanted to
- I think a deeper cleanse is required for healing some of my injuries and conditions.
New food & exercise habits from now -
- Going to start juicing a lot - vegetable juices.
- Cutting down on caffeine and milk.
- Will focus on a negative calorie diet.
- Will avoid bread.
- Every Tuesday is intermittent fasting on water.
- Every Friday is a free day to eat things I like.
- Will try the C25K program and start running walking in the mornings.
