Day 4
Day 4 of water fast
Date: 2/9/2008 1:54:51 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 2065 times It is Day 4 of my water fast, and so far so good. I have been having serious hunger pangs all along and including today, though not quite as severe today. It is snowing here in CT and I woke today with a rush of energy and capitalized on it by going for a walk in the snow. It did wonders for the achy muscles in my legs (which mirrors last fast's detox symptoms around the same day). I did a little over a mile, briskly. It was very invigorating! When fasting, I have this mental block about exercising too much or too long. I could have gone longer today, but decided to be conservative. My temp is hovering around 97 or so, give or take, and that is Ok with me. I am curious if it will increase like it did last fast. I haven't entered the hell of acid reflux yet, and I'll admit I am a bit anxious about whether or not that will happen this time around.
Today I am making a soup of all the leftover vegetables and herbs in my fridge to freeze for later. While this doesn't fit into my raw diet necessarily, I think I will incorporate it in while breaking the fast. I also have some citrus fruit that I must peel and freeze before it goes bad. I am on a tight budget and every morsel needs to be utilized =) Also, while web surfing, I found a recipe for raw falafel - no dehydrator needed!

I can't WAIT to try this out when I am through with this fast.
