Day 13 - A Mind & Body Lesson for Everyone

This morning I woke up a bit with the "Monday Blues"! Monday is not my favorite day regardless and I just could not get motivated to get in the swing today. I decided to take a day off work and just relax and do some reading - which turned out to be a great plan.
I think when you do something like this - fasting - you have to be aware that on another level there is a spiritual and emotional "clearing" that also begins in this process. You may not feel that you have much or any issues to "clear", but somehow things surface. This isn't a bad thing - just some clarity in seeing things in your life how they truly are without fear or self-judgement. I now see that perhaps this could be why many people just can break through the duration of fasting. I think when you reach this point - seeing the "clarity" will either send you right back in your old habits and beliefs - out of fear OR will pull you forward into new thinking and perhaps ideas of change. I feel it all depends on your willingness and openess to make the choice.
I never expected that I would have this experience in my fast. It's probably the main force that truly has the ability to evoke the healing process. I now see exactly how Mind is connected to Emotions and Feelings are connected to Body.
So give this some thought - anyone suffering chronic dis-ease or even obesity. The dissatisfaction you feel for your body's health is caused by your own call to action to affect a change. Your body's health is in the state it is in because you are holding the charge of emotions and feelings inside that you can't let go and allow to heal.
I'll write more about this tomorrow but for now I just need to meditate further on this!

- I am going to the bathroom #1 like every 3-4 hours, urine is clear, no odor

- Noticing body changes

- A spiritual awakening has begun
