That quote was of Eisenhower, in his farewell speach.

Ahmadinejad seems to be saying he wants the second coming - who knew??
Actually, I would gladly fill the shoes of being "the one who would bring world peace" if I was given the opportunity - who wouldn't? it is the CREATING of that opportunity that is the messianic aspect.
Would YOU not want to spread that message of justice, peace, and brotherhood on the planet? And didn't Ahmadinejad just do that same thing in saying he "hopes" for it to be done?
We are all messiah who are demanding peace, and when the entire human race is saying it, there WILL be peace, and then we will know the true identity of the messiah - it is us or it is nobody at all.
ITS UP TO US.
