can tmj make you look older, by the muscles being disorgnised and the joint out of aligment if so how do you fix these problems also does your neck muscles pull your cheek muscles tighter as i have tmj and have very very flat cheeks and have aged really badly like 5 years in 1 year with tmj, also can teeth play a role in aging short teeth.
also can tmj cause weak laxisity of the skin?

  A quick search in Google Scholar will give you scientific studies providing several therapies that worked well for TMJ/TMD patients. Nick Yiannios has some research studies and a YouTube channel with testimonies of patients all over USA coming to his clinic.
  
  This article on acupuncture for TMJ quotes a medical study that achieved >90% success rate in relieving the symptoms of TMD long term, giving a guide on how to stimulate the same acu-points than the patients who participated in the study.

About a year ago I did the parasite cleanse. After one day I started to get the flu symptoms, which I'm assuming were from the die off effect. It got severe enough that I discontinued after the second day.

Immediately following I had a lower back pain and TMJ that's lasted ever since.

Seems like the die off left toxins in my body that might be causeing the continued pain.

My question is this: if I'm correct, is there a way to get rid of these toxins in a way that's mild enough to not give me flu symptoms again? I must be very sensitive since I only did the parasite cleanse for 2 days and was out for a month.

    If it was decompression sickness that messed you up all that time ago,It would show up on a MRI, Lesions on the brain and spine are sometimes caused by decompression sickness, Especially in people with PFO, Another thing you can check out/diagnose for yourself to try determine WTF happened that day.

Unsuccessful TMJ surgery. Help!

Help!
I'm 31 from London and I have had two TMJ ops. That's two bilateral Arthroplasty-both sides. Jan 2015 and March 2015. The clicking and grinding stopped and the pain calmed for about 6months-but over Xmas its started up - more grinding sounds and total agony. Does anyone have any idea what the next step will be (seeing surgeon on Friday) feeling very lost. Thanks!
