IBD, SIBO or Parasites? Please help me diagnose.
Hallo everyone, I'm asking for help or any clues that could help. Maybe someone had similar symptoms and can relate?
Amongst many different health issues I've managed to recover from over years, there is one that persists more than 10 years now. Because of multiple problems all over my body overlapping (adrenal fatigue, fungal infections, candida, depressions etc) it was hard to distinguish the symptoms but now it seems very straight forward as my lifestyle changed and most of the problems are gone:
triggers: It appears to flare up badly after periods of heightened stress and some disordered eating together (later in day, in hurry, mixing food, not chewing properly) But it's more or less always there.
Currently my diet is very clean predominantly vegan/raw keto, it helped me to deal with a whole lots of other problems like fungal infections, mood swings, blood
Sugar issues and more but it doesn't seem to help or maybe it even make this problem worse. (but it's still better than running on carbs and dealing with being partially mental, itchings, skin issues etc, etc)
symptoms:
-abdominal discomfort, bloating, mostly in right lower side.
-general cramp and tension, sometimes palatable rockhard spots where gas is trapped.
-first constipation then huge thirst nearly impossible to satisfy, especially in the evenings and eventually diarrhea then it gets slowly better.
-constant flatulence with sulfur like smell.
-stool is pale, always loose (porridge like) floats in the toilet and oily.
-constant anal itching long time now.
-sometimes periods of waking up in the morning with bad pains in the whole lower back, feels like my kidneys are suffering - it gets quickly better after standing up and moving.
- dehydration even though I'm drinking looots of water.
Fasting always helps but I'm eventually dropping to too low weight and/or unable to work anymore and then relapse to symptoms as soon as I'm eating roughly anything just to be able to function.
Anyone have a clue how to adress this situation? I've tried mixtures of many antimicrobials, antifungals, fasting and more. Some help more other less but in the end I'm just going through never ending die-offs, feeling a bit better, relapses, feeling worse and it never really goes away for good.
What could it be? The main culprit? Any tests that could help?
