Re: Obtained meds for blasto, advice?
by Positive mind 8 y
There are many mixed reviews on how to treat this. Have read about treatments only with meds and also some with meds and naturals.
You have to see what works for you.
Therre have been posters here before who have done the triple treatment and for some it worked.
Google around about it.

Blasto triple treatment
by Positive mind 8 y
I would like to try the triple therapy for b hominis. I have had it for a long time and this amongst others have destroyed my immune system. I am now treating disseminated roundworms with other co infections. I know that the triple treatment requires that only the 3 antibiotics are taken for 10 days, looks like a heavy one but the cure rate is good. Has anyone experience with this? I would need to stop roundworm meds for this time, which i am a bit scared of. But i have to treat blasto because it is causing problems and delaying progress. I have previously tried many alternative therapies ...

Hi all
I’m new to this forum after searching the web for some support while I am on triple therapy treatment for Blastocystis Hominis.
I have tried to search for people in a similar situation, but would really like to hear from someone who has tried the triple therapy: Nitazoxanide / Furazolidone / Secnidazole.
I am feeling incredibly unwell on this treamtent (I am on day 5 of the 10 day program) and considering stopping the treatment, as it seems nothing is worth feeling this ill....even the ongoing pain and issues of Blasto.h.
Please let me know if you have or are in a similar ...

Steps,
No, it does not have anything do with malabsorption. It is that Metronidazole does not work; there scores of stories of people who have used Metronidazole to no avail. But they took the triple therapy from Australia and healed.
Yes, I wonder where Dr. Cure is; he is surely wrong about Blastocystis. He does not know that Metronidazole does not kill protozoes.
Now I am about to try the Australian triple therapy, the second line treatment. I will start in a few weeks. My drugs should be here in 10 days or so.

Blasto is unique in that there are 10 subtypes that are pathogenic, and these 10 subtypes require some variation in treatment strategies.
First there is no evidence that flaygl will eliminate it by itself (see badbugs.org) and that a triple drug cocktail is in order.
The austrailian clinic (CDD) that has spearheaded blasto research is now administering drugs via a retention enema which appears to be more effective.
I have an outside forum at pptu.lefora.com that is an interactive forum for stubborn protozoa parasites, you are welcome to come over.

Ya, I was surprised by the fact that MM only picked up the hookworm on the third test too. I’m thinking it’s a fairly small infestation in my case. I’ve never experienced actual physical sensations with any parasites either.
Do you think you’ll try out the triple drug treatment for B. Hominis? I’m strongly thinking of it (assuming I get a positive diagnosis offcourse)... Considering it’s a 10 day treatment it seems like a good quick way of eliminating a possibility... Symptom wise, do you notice that they get worse after eating high carb / starchy type of products? That depends on the species or sub-type of blasto. There are 10 known subtypes of blasto that are pathogenic. There are many combinations that are posted on badbugs, typically they are using a triple drug cocktail consisting of secnidazole, septra and diloxanide furoate but not all have responded to this and had to use other combinations.

You may be infected with Blastocystis, Isospora or another protozoal. Remember, protozoals are among the hardest to diagnose among pathogens. They only shed cysts on some days so microscopy only works reliably on fresh purged matter.
I suggest you do the old style triple therapy and get rid of whatever protozoal you have. The nitazoxanide/furazolidone/secnidazole combo is extremely broad spectrum and has a good chance(80-+90%) of curing you for good. ...

This is why ParaZapper excels. Several very precise frequencies in sequence. No need to tap and 1 hour continuous will produce far better results.
Anyone who doubts this needs to do the jar test.
A single frequency zapper, no matter what the frequency, can not match the range and extent of microbial destruction produced by ParaZapper multi-frequency.
This is why Jaguar has not produced pictures that show equal results or even close, and neither has any of the other single, dual, or even triple frequency zappers out there.

For two reasons mainly, because it has been used to treat other protozoans such as Leishmania and Naegleria fowleri and because its chemical structure closely resembles rifaximin. It’s lipophilic so it should have no problem getting into the protozoans.
Whether its effective is another matter. It has many side effect and it’s hepatoxic, not on my list that’s for sure. Rifaximin is a better choice because it’s poorly absorbed from the gut unlike rifampicin.
Generally there are many antibacterial drugs that has an effect on protozoans. They have much in common so it’s no surprise.

Could be any protozoa, there are many pathogenic ones and there are genotypes of each which means these are mutant strains, this is well known in the b. hominis strain.
Some of these will be quite resistant to Flagyl etc. The difficult strains will require a combination as listed on badbugs.org. Typically you will need a triple cocktail that includes lumicidal drugs such as Diloxinide Furoate etc. in combination with Secnidazole and either Nitazoxanide or Bactrim (2 antibiotics).
Proper testing can help identify what species you have so the correct protocol can be given.
