L-Glutathione is one of the body’s most important and powerful antioxidants. A major function of vitamin C is to keep L-glutathione, L-cysteine, and N-acetyl-cysteine in reduced form so that they can continue to have their powerful free radical quenching effects. L-Glutathione (gamma-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is a peptide (short protein)-like molecule synthesized in the body from the three amino acids L-glutamic acid, L-cysteine, and glycine.
L-cysteine is a conditionally essential amino acid, one of only three sulfur-containing amino acids, the others being taurine (which can be ...

I was wondering if anyone had knowledge on if N-Acetyl Cysteine will work as normal L-Cysteine supplements for eliminating parasite reproduction?

Thank you.

Do you eat the raw egg whites too? (I’m not sure if it’s in the yolk, the white or both, no source mentions it) Raw eggs contains N-acetyl-cysteine, another liver helper and heavy metal chelator. Can’t find the amount anywhere, but I read it has been proven. I’m not sure, I think once cooked, something happens to the acetyl-cysteine and the eggs become just a source of cysteine, which is also good.
Some people believed that raw eggs helped to deal with hangovers. It would be explained by the N-acetyl-cysteine.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) For Mercury Detoxification
What Is NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine)?
NAC is produced in living organisms from the amino acid cysteine. Thus, NAC is a natural sulfur-containing amino acid derivative found naturally in foods and is a powerful antioxidant. These dual properties help repair oxidative damage in the body. Being a powerful anti-oxidant and cell detoxification co-factor, NAC works to eliminate your body of free radicals and heavy metals. This improves your cellular health tremendously.

Apparently you saw information which originated in an article/newsletter by Naturopathic oncologist Jacob Schor, who maintains that N-Acetyl Cysteine blocks the oxidative reaction in cancer cells which lead to their death. Such information runs counter to indications that NAC actually inhibits cancer growth by blocking mitochondrial oxidative stress which drives tumor growth. See for example:

I think you need to do your homework. Yes, Vitamin C isn’t a chelator medicine but DO the same with minerals a chelator does. N Acetyl Cysteine promotes the elimination pathways and facilitates toxin excretion. What I consider FALSE information ( and I am not wrong in that one ) is your statement about taking oral probiotics to replace the intestinal flora. You should research more about it before to claim that. Learning is a free task !!!

I’m not sure what research you are reading, but N-acetyl L-cysteine and N-acetylcysteine are essentialy identical anti-oxident and liver cleanse and precursors to Glutathione. L-Cysteine is just the more stable version of Cysteine that’s converted to L-cysteine as needed by the body. Supplemental forms of NAC therefore use L-cysteine instead. I’m not sure how one will promote facial hair growth (and no where else, as in selective hair growth?) over the other, or at all, since it’s not a hormone. But as with any amino acid, it’s advisable to be tested before supplementing. If you have normal levels of cysteine, then supplementing won’t do anything.

N-acetyl-cysteine is brilliant for any bronchial problems. This is also known to thin mucous making it an unfavourable place to be for parasites as they love thick, gooey mucous.
Also vitamin E is necessary for good, healthy, strong lungs. Vitamin E increases oxygen uptake and parasites hate oxygen......I would aim for up to 150 mg a day if you don’t suffer from high blood pressure or take blood thinning medicine. Must be taken in conjuction with vitamin C.
