SUMMARY: Results of Liver Flush, Analysis and Opinion
My flush procedure
------------------
I followed the Clark recipe and actually started the flush a little late. I had my last very low fat meal of rice and vegetables and a few shrimps (low in fat but not entirely fat free) and finished my lunch at about 3pm. No food or water until 9pm when I drank 1.5 tablespoon of
Epsom Salt in 3/4 cup of water with some freshly squeezed lemon to mask the bitterness. At 11pm I had another 1.5 tablespoon of
Epsom Salt in 3/4 cup of water with again some freshly squeezed lemon. At 1am I drank 0.45 cup of olive oil (almost but not nearly 1/2 cup) and alternatingly sipped some freshly squeezed lemon juice (I squeezed 3 medium sized lemons to form about 1/2 cup of lemon juice). It was tough drinking the olive oil but the freshly squeezed lemon helped. I did not mix the two together. Then I went straight to bed. Slept no problem. Woke up at 8am and no feeling of bowel movement. I took my 3rd
Epsom Salt drink again 1.5 tablespoon epsom salt in water with no lemon squeezed this time. At 9:30am I could not longer stand the hunger pangs and had a large red ruby grapefruit. At 10am I took my 4th and final epsom salt drink. Still no bowel movement and was very disappointed.
Results
-------
But then suddenly at 10:30am had my first bowel movement and within 5 minutes of each other had another 4 bowel movements. Diuretic watery release with lots of green pea sized chaffe and some small pea sized clumps. There were maybe about 20 pea sized clumps and 4 larger sized clumps. I picked up one of these larger pieces and it is soft and waxy and crumpled when squeezed. Inside is a deep rich green coloured centre with some crystilline reflections which I thought may be the magnesium sulphate but am not sure. In the afternoon, I've had several more smaller diuretic bowel movements but no major noticeable pea sized clumps. It looks something like the link below but for me it was smaller sized.
Analysis
--------
I do not know if these clumps are in fact blockages that were formed in the liver biliary ducts. I would like to believe it is but am not sure. I suspected that it may be bile mixed with olive oil. The colour is rich green inside and light green outside. I had no tan coloured lumps. It is soft and waxy on the inside. I suspect that perhaps with time it might become more solid with concentric layered inner circles which might be more convincing proof of stones. I can not state with categorical certainty that these are stones.
Opinion
-------
The
Liver Flush procedure was painless. The biggest pain I felt was the hunger pangs. I have been following an ultra low fat diet (the McDougal diet) for the last 6 months so am rather thin (some people commented I'm emaciated) with little fat reserves for emergency caloric needs. Would I do it again? Yes, in 2 weeks I will try it again and hopefully I will get more convincing results. I feel that I probably won't have any tan coloured stones but could be more biliary sludge in the biliary ducts and I may get better results next time.
