Re: I Love My IUD.
There are many women out there who do not have any problems with their IUD, that's great for you and them. This is the place for women who have had problems, major problems, a support group if you will. You are basically saying that it's just a coincidence that ALL of these women have psychological issues. I for one was never diagnosed with
Depression or anxiety. I was a very happy woman beforehand. I had all of my side effects prior to being directed to this site. As for my doctor telling me about any of these side effects, didn't happen. I was told about cysts that may form and lighter periods. When I had mine put in, none of the side effects I am experiencing were included in the pamphlet that came with the IUD. NOW, many more side effects are listed in their pamphlet. Probably from all of the women calling to tell them about these side effects, which when reported, and there is a substantial amount of these reports, the manufacturer then in turn has to make the new users aware of them. They have changed a lot of their information over the last year and a half. So to say that these are all psychological issues in many women who were healthy women before and some that have had theirs removed already, healthy after........unless you are a doctor, you really shouldn't be saying that at all.
