Re: trapper
A person's soul can possibly be annihilated, like it never even existed. The Bible even says that. It's not God's doing though, it's that person who does it to theirself. A person who consistently & repeatedly goes against "the will of God" winds up this way. And no, after this point there is no redemption. There's nothing to receive redemption.
Also parents do not bring children into this world. God's tapistry is so complex no one could possibly understand it all, but there are other reasons. There are good reasons for everything though. Even abortions, birth defects, the drunk in the gutter, and people like hitler.
Is pleasure (the satisfaction of happiness) desired? Then we must live in a world where the alternative of pain and the likelihood of suffering are ever present possibilities.
You asked about my experience. It was unique from every other experience I've ever heard of. I guess that's why I'm a unconventional Christian. A religion to myself as others in here condemn. In reality each Christian is a religion unto themself. They just don't realize it. Like Corinthian said, that's one reason for all the different denominations. There's different teachings of man, church, and reality. Is it wrong? No. Each person is on that different level of advancement. Jesus showed this with his parables. A different message can be received by each person depending on their spiritual level. What one person can step on and keep walking, another can be overwhelmed by it.
We all take what we "need" or can use, and leave the rest. Most don't realize it though. Most Christians believe if you don't swollow the whole thing hook line and sinker, you're hell bound. Even though they do the very thing they condemn. There are a few in here who are willing to walk the path alone, blazing their own trail. Which is the only way you can do it really. It's not about us & God, it's about the individual & God. In the end it's all good, because God planned it. There are no surprises for God.
