Re: Suicide, what happens after death anyone guess.
Doc Sutter, you'd love to read Howard Storm's testimony from his book, 'My Descent into Death: A second Chance, by Howard Storm. (The hardcover only cost $10.00 by the way)
Wow, was that book beautiful- and I feel an honest testimony. Another one is "Return from Tomorrow" by Dr. Ritchie, Md.
Years ago at my church's spiritual retreat, there was a guest who had a back to life experience at Vietnam. He was an agnostic whose experienced drastically changed his entire life. I remember as a teenager being in awe of him, because I sensed Peace around him. I wanted to sit around him all the time at the Retreat.
I would LOVE to hear what your patient in a como experienced-- I realize , however, that she deserves privacy and I do not want to pry. If she WANTS to share any part of it, we would not scoff at her.
The day I realized that God exists and He is Who He is, and a part of every single person's life, was the happiest day in my life. That happened when I was 16 years old. Before that, I was an athiest who wanted to believe in God, but couldnt'
P.S.-- I'm the kind of person who actually needs divine assistance to have any kind of internal faith. I cannot believe in anything unless God enables me to. Otherwise, if left to my own human nature, I can't believe. God has not dissapointed me and when I ask Him for faith, I notice He sneaks it in me somehow or other ! :-)
