As someone who is still relatively new to Curezone, I have to express my huge gratitude to those more knowledgable members who have been travelling the road for longer and who never seem to get tired of posting replies and sharing their expertise and experience. Rarely do you see them post with their own problems, but they are always on hand when someone needs them, and they are worth their weight in gold. I have to admit that back in the beginning I was overwhelmed with information and opinions from the posts I read, and frequently confused as I came across contradictions and misinformation - (the 'vegetables are dangerous' one had me perplexed for about ten minutes I have to say!) - and I have since seen many new members get bogged down in the same way, but there is always a voice of reason not far away, and many times there will be a 'Yes, but...' type post in an attempt at damage control. And for that, I for one am eternally grateful - Curezone has helped me to turn my health, and therefore my life, around but I think I may have abandoned it altogether if it weren't for our 'veterans' (heh heh) and their seemingly endless capacity for helping others. Right now I'm still on my learning curve, and my experience is still limited. I try to post helpful replies when I can but mostly I am still gathering information and knowledge in the hope that soon I'll be able to help others in the way that I've been helped.
My thoughts on the issue of the unrest that has been apparent on Curezone, which I have noticed for a while, and which has been stirred up by the Pharma ad issue.... I see this happening in personal relationships and friendships, circles of friends... I can see it happening to the world at large, and in my own life. I can't quote him directly because I haven't got the book to hand, so forgive me if I get this a little jumbled - but in 'A New Earth', Eckhart Tolle refers to the way in which ego and unconsciousness will struggle for survival and become more amplified for a time, seeming to become stronger shortly before it is overcome - as will anything in it's last throes. He also says that beginning to overcome unconsciousness and ego is as simple as just being aware of it, stepping aside and watching it. I hear a lot of people say that our world is doomed, that evil has taken over and there is no hope for us.... maybe they're right but I don't think so.... I prefer to think that what's happening in the world is unconsciousness in its last throes. I know that this may sound simplistic, but unconsciousness is all around us, and I don't think that it's possible to keep Curezone hermetically sealed from it. I think Invincible is right when she refers to the Pharma ads representing the duality that exists in life. To borrow the ship analogy - it would be a shame to see a perfectly good vessel go under or be abandoned, especially when so much effort, love and time has been spent by so many, diligently bailing out the water and plugging the leaks.
