According to literature, an infection by parasitic organisms [regularly helminths, which is a scientific name for 'worms'] is called an infestation.

In my opinion, if you're infested with 'parasites' you've been so for a long time, so there's no immediate hurry [there are biological reasons for this]. Take things one day at a time, eat well, get enough sleep [as much as possible without drugs], drink plenty of fluids and before you make any decision health-wise think it over in detail and don't jump right into the first remedy offered, lest you fall into the dark pit of experimental ignorance, as I call it. As I've learned, there are many unproven remedies suggested on these forums by many that are still infested and unable to Heal or to recover, so be advised.
