Thanks for the post I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's problem. I'm glad to hear she's better now. Based on the research that I've read about HPV, the strain that causes cancer is NOT the same strain that causes warts (warts are benign). Perhaps she had more than one version of the HPV virus. There are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding the HPV virus, warts, cervical cancer, and just how exactly HPV is spread (many times only one person in a relationship will develop warts). I've also read that cervical cancer can be caused by smoking, poor eating habits, and weak immune system. It's a shame that in this day and age we still don't have many of the answers to the cause and cure of disease.
