They allow the edit to make the "unpopular" poster (read here non-insider) look like an idoit, and there are some moderators that have a few forums that I could name- that I have had it done- and watched it being done to others that specialize in this tactic

You have lost sooo many good people this way
But ofcourse someone else that has mod or Webmaster privledges can log on as that idenity and be them

But it never quite works out does it

Know why
Because that person was special and even if they had 15 idenitites this one was a special one and you cannot replace them PERIOD

So the business as usual will finally hurt those who practice such behaviors

If you really love CZ try some fiduciary responsibility and leave your needs to be "an expert" and your ego at the home page (front door)
